Long Island's JVC Force, a rap group whose name stands for "Justified by Virtue of Creativity for All Reasons Concerning Entertainment" (that would actually make them "J.V.C. Farce," but whatever) was a trio consisting of DJ Curt Cazal and MCs AJ Rok and MC B-Luv. The days of dropping science are back in full swing and who better to deliver than the almighty J.V.C. Force and their classic LP “Doin’ Damage”. Released in early 1988 on the legendary B-Boy records Label, “Doin‘ Damage” became an instant favorite throughout the Hip Hop community. Tracks such as “You’ll Like It Too”, “Doin’ Damage”, and of course their monster hit “Strong Island” gave J.V.C. an everlasting foot hold in Hip Hop history. Re-released on LP and CD with audio remastered from the original master reels and original cover art, the J.V.C. Force sounds better than they did seventeen years ago…
